Effective December 1, 2018

Criminal Justice Agencies across the State of Colorado are no longer obligated to fingerprint vendors except in exigent circumstances. 

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation implemented on September 24, 2018 the Colorado Applicant Background Services program in response to Senate Bill 17-189. This bill authorizes, under the management of CBI, third party vendors to print and submit non-criminal applicant fingerprints to the State.

The Bent County Sheriff’s Office Fingerprints for Colorado Concealed Weapon Permits and Criminal Justice Only. 

All other fingerprinting must be completed with IdentoGo.
